The music/fashion extravaganza known as Macy’s Passport Presents Glamorama will take place Friday, Aug. 13, at the Chicago Theatre, 175 N. State, at 8 p.m.
Popular musical artist Macy Gray, who first soared to fame with her debut album On How Life Is and her massive hit single “I Try,” will headline the event. “Beauty in the World” is the first hit single from her newest album, The Sellout. The Chicago show marks the second of four stops of the Macy’s Passport Presents Glamorama benefit, touring in Minneapolis, Los Angeles and San Francisco.
Topping the list of designers this year are Jean Paul Gaultier, Just Cavalli, Marc Jacobs, Philosophy di Alberta Ferretti, Sonia Rykiel, SportMax and, for the first time ever, Issey Miyake.
