After a five-year absence from New York City, transgender actress/singer Alexandra Billings—who was a theater fixture in Chicago for decades, thanks to productions such as Vampire Lesbians of Sodom and Xena! Live!—will make her debut Friday-Saturday, Aug. 20-21, at the upscale nightclub Feinstein’s at Loews Regency, 540 Park Ave., in a show produced in association with the Lampkin Music Group.
The show will include songs from Billings’ award-winning cabaret show such as “Angels, Punks and Raging Queens” and “I’m Not My Mother.” (Robert Ollis is the musical director.)
