The local company Joel Hall Dancers is traveling to the United Kingdom Sept. 4-9. Invited to perform at the annual Leap Festival in New Brighton, the company will perform six pieces in two performances at the festival.
The company last attended the festival, presented by the Merseyside Dance Initiative, 20 years ago. During this year’s appearance, Joel Hall Dancers will perform Sweets for the Suite, El Gato Negro, Compassion, Nina’s Props, Flight and Eleven Years After. During the visit, Hall will also conduct master classes for attending dancers.
