Despite the dreary weather, more than 7,000 participants turned up for the 2010 AIDS Run/Walk Chicago. More than $470,000 was netted for the AIDS Foundation of Chicago and more than 70 service organizations throughout Chicagoland.

WGN-TV entertainment reporter Dean Richards and state Rep. Greg Harris were among those attending the event. Among those providing entertainment were the Windy City Cowboys.
