The Mr. International Rubber (MIR) 2011 competition was held recently in Chicago, Ill.—and Mister Southeast Rubber (known as G Man from Atlanta, Ga.) was declared the winner, according to a press release. Roger from the Netherlands was first runner-up while Chicago native Johnny Switch was named second runner-up. In all, nine men representing U.S. regions and several countries competed.
The two-night MIR competition takes place among a weekend of events that bring hundreds of rubber-fetish enthusiasts together in Chicago. Now in its second year at the Center on Halsted. The contest and the associated vendor market events attracted close to 1,000 attendees.
