Current Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi posted on Twitter that there will be a new vote Wed., Dec. 15, on a measure that would repeal “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” (DADT), according to USA Today.

U.S. Rep. Patrick Murphy, D-Penn., introduced a standalone bill Dec. 14 that would repeal DADT.

The Senate is currently stuck regarding a measure that would repeal the military policy and authorize Pentagon initiatives. Sens. Susan Collins, R-Maine, and Joe Lieberman, I-Conn., introduced a DADT-repeal standalone bill last week.

President Obama has repeatedly asked Congress to repeal DADT.
