The AIDS Run & Walk Chicago 2011 will take place Saturday, Oct. 1, in Upper Hutchinson Field in Grant Park.
At 7 a.m., registration will take place, entertainment will start and the health & fitness village will open. Registration closes at 8:15 a.m.
The 5K run will begin at 8:30 a.m.; the 10K run will start at 8:45 a.m.; and the walk will commence at 9 a.m.
Since 2001, more than 20,000 participants—raising more than $3 million in net funds—have converged in Grant Park.
