The event was part of “Dining By Design,” which ran Nov. 3-5 at the Mart.
Nineteen of Chicago’s top restaurants (including Naha, ZED451, RL, Waffles, Prosecco and Coco Pazzo) were represented at “Hop,” as attendees viewed various design installations and bid on silent-auction items. DIFFA/Chicago office administrator Karen Wells told Windy City Times only a quarter of the floor was used, easily allowing for the expansion of future events.
The gala dinner concluded things the evening of Nov. 5. There were a cocktail reception and silent auction; the seated dinner was by Phil Stefani Signature Events.
DIFFA/Chicago’s next big event is the presentation of its Excellence in Care grants in February at Chase Auditorium, 10 S. Dearborn St.
