Father Bede R. Jagoe—a 77-year-old priest assigned to the chapel at Chicago’s Midway Airport—has been charged with criminal sexual abuse after he allegedly attempted to grab the genitals of a man who had attended services before taking a flight to Kansas, according to the Chicago Tribune.
Jagoe reportedly talked with the alleged victim, 54, after services Dec. 11.
As they boarded an elevator, Jagoe allegedly told the man he was attracted to him and tried to kiss him on the mouth, then “grabbed [the victim’s] testicles,” prosecutors stated.
