Signs are pointing to Rosie O’Donnell moving her OWN (Oprah Winfrey Network) talk show from Chicago to New York.
According to the Huffington Post, O’Donnell has listed her 6,000-square-foot house in Lakeview for $2.5 million. A source said, “It was a mistake to take the show to Chicago just because Oprah’s old studio was sitting there empty. Rosie loves New York. This is where she grew up, goes to the theater and has dinner with her friends.” The source also said that it’s easier to have guests travel to New York City.
The move is the most recent of several changes for the show. There are now more one-on-one interviews (including a talk with former Illinois First Lady Patti Blagojevich), and the removal of the game-show segment and space for a studio audience.
