Chicago House held its 25th annual spring brunch and fashion show May 6.

Raising more than $110,000 with a sold-out event and donations will bring assistance to then more than 1,400 people the agency helps each year. This is one of Chicago House’s most popular annual fundraisers.

The Harold Washington Library provided the bright space that featured silent and live auctions; fashions by Mark Shale and Borris Powell; and a disco song by singer Linda Clifford. Jewell Events Catering provided seafood and yummy desserts while guests watched dancers and models strut down the runway. Former mayoral LGBT liaison Bill Greaves received the annual spirit award for his service in the community.

Chicago House began providing housing and support for individuals affected by HIV/AIDS and recently expanded to focus on transgender issues.
