Outside the Hershey store, 822 N. Michigan Ave., AIDS advocates held a protest May 9.
The activists gathered to protest Pennsylvania’s Milton Hershey School, a prestigious boarding school for low-income scholarship students funded by the Hershey Company that recently rejected a 13-year-old HIV-positive boy for admission. Approximately 20 people gathered in Chicago as part of a nationwide boycott that the AIDS Healthcare Foundation called.
The group has a website: www.hersheys-boycott.org.
