On Wed., June 6, the 2nd annual “PFLAG National Celebrates the Heartland” will be held at the Center on Halsted, 3656 N. Halsted St.
The event will be 6-8:30 p.m., with honors beginning at 7 p.m. Center on Halsted CEO Modesto “Tico” Valle and About Face Theatre will be the honorees.
Roosevelt University President Charles Middleton and Council for Adult and Experiential Learning President/CEO Pamela Tate are event co-chairs.
