The Chicago chapter of the National Asian Pacific American Women’s Forum (NAPAWF) celebrated the publication of its new report, What Do We Want? When Do We Want It? A Reproductive Justice Needs Assessment of Asian & Pacific Islander Women & Girls in Chicago, Aug. 8 with an event to share the results.
The goal of the project was to determine the needs and priorities of Chicago’s Asian and Pacific Islander (API) women and girls as well as to explore the language of reproductive justice. More than 125 people participated in the nine-month project—with 30 percent identifying as lesbian, bisexual, queer and/or questioning.
