The American Craft Exposition will take place Aug. 24-26 in Northwestern University’s Henry Crown Sports Pavilion Northwestern University, 2311 N. Campus Dr., Evanston.

This art event—which the Auxiliary of NorthShore University HealthSystem at Evanston and Glenbrook Hospitals will present—is an art expo and a major fundraiser supporting breast- and ovarian-cancer research and care at NorthShore.

The show will bring together 164 artisans, including Robert Hendrick (specializes in functional art made from authentic railroad crossties and rails that date back to 1898), Vermont-based Natalie Blake (who works with ceramics) and other artists who work on a variety of materials from leathers to glass to wood.
