The inaugural EXPO CHICAGO, The International Exposition of Contemporary/Modern Art and Design, will take place Sept. 20-23 in Festival Hall at Navy Pier, 800 E. Grand Ave.
Art Expositions, LLC, under the leadership of president/director Tony Karman, is producing the event.
Dozens of galleries are slated to take part. Among the many local galleries that will be featured are the Stephen Daiter Gallery, Anthony Meier Fine Arts, Rhona Hoffman Gallery, Rosenthal Fine Art and the Catherine Edelman Gallery. Other exhibitors will hail from U.S. cities such as New York City, Philadelphia and San Francisco, with still others visiting from global spots including Zurich, Switzerland; London; Beijing; and Helsinki, Finland.
