The local HIV/AIDS agency TPAN (Test Positive Aware Network) has received a $10,000 grant from The Gibbs Family Foundation in support of its new HIV prevention initiative for serodiscordant couples.

This prevention initiative is available to all HIV/AIDS-impacted populations in the greater Chicago Metropolitan Area. The psycho-educational program will be composed of six weekly groups for five couples, approximately two and a half hours per session, three cycles per year.

TPAN is currently finalizing the initiative and expects to convene its first group this fall. For more information, visit www.tpan.com.
