Gilbert R. Dominguez died peacefully Aug. 7. He was 77.
A longtime employee of Elizabeth Arden Red Door Spa, Gilbert enjoyed people and entertaining and passionately supported the arts, especially theater, opera, and ballet.
For 45 years Gilbert was partner-in-life to well-known Chicago classical musician Donald J. Kingston, who predeceased him. Surviving Gilbert are dear friends Jon-Michael Hansen, Jimmy Irwin, Lenny Kheyo and Demi Poskonka as well as his beloved pet parrot, Ruby.
