—diptyque Paris (www.diptyqueparis.com): If you’re involved in some last-minute shopping, you might want to check out this brand that has stores all over the world and has finally opened in Chicago (in Wicker Park, at 1635 N. Damen Ave.). Any recipient is bound to be impressed with diptyque’s high-end candles, personal fragrances and accessories—all with the brand’s iconic black lettering on the renowned oval label.

—ZocDoc (www.zocdoc.com; free iPhone/Android app): Finding a physician has never been easier. The site/app allows you to instantly find a doctor by location or specialty—including those who specialize in LGBT health.

—Glee Scene It? (at major retailers): If you’re looking for a different type of game, this is it, complete with a DVD that has you practically in the show’s McKinley High. There are on-screen puzzles, Glee-inspired music trivia and other activities.

—Shock Doctor (www.ShockDoctor.com): For the athlete in you (or other people), Shock Doctor is known for making high-grade products such as mouthguards, performance apparel and sports-therapy items.
