The Chicago House & Social Service Agency hosted its annual “Absolut Wrapture” fundraiser Jan. 24 at the Willis Tower SkyDeck.

About 350 people attended the cocktail party, which featured Absolut vodka cocktails, hors d’oeuvres from J&L Catering and a silent art auction. Guests placed bids on their smartphones, and all proceeds benefited the 27-year-old HIV/AIDS nonprofit.

“We provide housing and support services for about 1,400 people each year,” CEO Stan Sloane told Windy City Times. “A lot of those people fit nicely into government grants, but every so often you get somebody who, if we didn’t have [fundraisers] like this, would just fall through the cracks… This will allow us to serve them.”

Tickets ranged from $99-150. To learn more about Chicago House, visit www.chicagohouse.org.
