Have yourselves a DILFy little Valentine’s Day. Our cover this week features a columnist we’d like to credit, Marc “Moose” Moder giving us classic class with his tufted heart-shaped box. It’s so full of love. Explore Moose’s love for DJ Tony Moran, as he interviews Tony in advance of his Freedom Revolution: Peace gig at Vision Nightclub, Sun., Feb. 17, part of Circuit Mom’s Presidents’ Day Weekend party extravaganza.

And DJ Moose is no slouch himself. Catch his grooves at the following joints: DILF (first Sat. of each month at The Sofo Tap); Wed@Wood (on Halsted and Buckingham); Mary’s Old Skool (second Fri. of each month at Mary’s Attic), and Downtown Lights at Downtown Bar and Lounge (first and third Fri.). Follow all his goings-on on Twitter @endorsedornot or stalk him on Facebook.

Check out me and my “brothers” at The Hideaway. Back in the storied days of The Nutbush, Mikey, Scottie and I all had a similar look (goatee, bearish, always jovial) so we decided we were triplets. Here’s our original family portrait from 2004 and our reunion shot. Mellowing with age we are.

Huge nerd ups to Danny Bernardo and his super successful launch of the Chicago Geeks Out! party at Spin. Boys, girls, batmen, batwomen, and all across the nerdo spectrum came together for comic books and camaraderie. There was no shortage of Super Mario-related paraphernalia, like the one girls awesome fire flower earrings. Want.

Check out our bloated calendar, filled with our pics for your Valentine’s Day, Presidents’ Day, Mardi Gras, and Grammy celebrations. As always, check me out in my tighty whities (or baggy bluies, as the case may be) at Jackhammer’s annual Mardi Gras undie-oke, brought to you by Creaoke. Lettin’ it all hang out since 2004.
