Honoring Thalia (“the queen of Latin pop”), Macy’s celebrated Hispanic Heritage Month with a fashion show hosted by out gay Project Runwa alum Nick Verreos.

During his intro, Verreos described his meeting the Mexican icon the week before in New York and how gracious she was to take a picture with her eager fans.

After making a $25 purchase in the women’s section, shoppers were treated to a free copy of Thalia’s latest album, Habitame Siempre, along with a concert DVD.

After the fashion show the Narcissus Room attendees enjoyed mojito mocktails, makeup makeovers and photo ops with the openly gay designer, who continues to make it work on the runway to this day.
