This is a big week in Springfield for the Marriage Equality vote! Amy is excited about new theater shows, the Reeling film festival starting Nov. 7th in which she lists several titles starting this week, and today’s conversation with Nick Bowling. She also gives a sneak peek of upcoming guests.
Guest: Director Nick Bowling joins Amy on this Queercast. Nick is directing the new TimeLine Theatre play, The Normal Heart. Nick discusses the origins of the play, the writer Larry Kramer and the July 3rd 1981 New York Times “rare cancer” AIDS article that started Kramer’s activism.
