The 17th annual Mr. International Rubber (MIR) weekend, subtitled “Karnival of Kink,” took place Nov. 8-10, with most of the events taking place at the Center on Halsted.

Among the events were the MIR Kink Market, social and Chicago rubbermen gear sale; the “Greet the Meat” cocktail party; The Mr. International Rubber 17 Contest; the MIR Strict Rubber Dress Code Party and Victory Celebration; “Movies and Mimosas”; and “Shiny Guys, Showtunes & Slushies” (at the nightspot Sidetrack). Andy “CosmicRoo” Coatham was selected MIR17; with Jesse as first runner-up and Introuble second runner-up.
