Inside Leather History, A Fireside Chat is proud to announce its next Fireside Chat at The Center on Halsted. IML Den Daddy Joey McDonald will appear in a live-on-stage interview to discuss his personal history and Leather community involvement. Following the formal interview the floor will open for audience questions. Inside Leather history, A Fireside Chat is a program of the Leather Archives and Museum and is a co-production of Christina Court, Joanne Gaddy, and Douglas O’Keeffe who also hosts. “I’m honored to interview Joey McDonald as part of the Fireside Chat series” O’Keeffe said. “Joey has attended every IML starting with the first in 1979. His is a story that needs to be told!” The Chats are recorded for historical preservation.
The Fireside Chats are offered free as a public service. The Center on Halsted donates its space. A $5 suggested donation at the door is appreciated to cover the Center’s Chat-related expenses.
