Greg is Vice President of Golden Apple Foundation and has worked at Chicago non-profits including Howard Brown Health Center, Chicago Public Media, and The Thresholds. He received his bachelor degree from Michigan State University and a Masters of Public Administration from University of Illinois Chicago. Greg is treasurer of the Board of Directors of Chicago Filmmakers, is the volunteer chair of Reeling, Chicago’s LGBT film festival, and is producing a movie in Detroit about mid-century automotive design. He is the son of Elita Lily Salustro of Grosse Pointe, Mich., and the late Gary Joseph Salustro.
Wayland received his undergraduate degree from University of Texas and holds a medical doctorate in otolaryngology from John Hopkins School of Medicine in Baltimore, Md., where he served on the faculty of the Johns Hopkins Hospital. He currently is vice-chairman of the Department of Surgery of The Salem Regional Medical Center in Salem, Ohio. Wayland is active in the Salem Rotary Club and is recognized for his work in art glass and photography. Wayland is the son of Mabel Wong of Houston, Tex., and the late Chester Young Wong.
Greg and Wayland are planning their future in Chicago upon Wayland’s retirement.
