She hit the stage with two local backup drag queens, Teri Yaki and Debbie Fox, as dancers. Rimes continues to tap into the gay market, having recently appeared at the current season of RuPaul’s Drag Race as a guest judge.
She took tracks from her 19th album, Dance Like You Don’t Give a… Greatest Hits Remixes, bringing new life to past songs such as “I Need You.” There were versions of “Can’t Fight the Moonlight” and “How Do I Live,” of course, that drove the packed back room of Roscoe’s wild. She took breaks between songs to speak directly to her gay fans on the microphone and seemed excited to take a few selfies with some people in front of the stage. She complimented the venue throughout the short set and seemed very happy to be there. Confetti eventually rained down that even surprised her, as she admitted to the crowd that she had no idea it was coming.
