Stonewall Kickball, a non-profit kickball league that had its first season last fall, celebrated a year of success on July 31 at Lake View’s Progress Bar with a summer fashion show.

The event featured kickball players modeling underwear and swimwear donated by Andrew Christian. Hosted by Debbie Fox and Saya Naomi, the show also included the distribution of a donation check of $15,000 to Fred Says, the organization that the league plays to raise funds for during the season.

“Over the past two seasons, we’ve been fortunate enough to support such a wonderful organization that is helping to change the lives of teenagers living with HIV all over the country,” Patrick Crosson, commissioner of the league. “We’re excited to continue the league this fall and for years to come!”

The fall season will launch with registration opening in the beginning of August. To learn more, visit “Stonewall Kickball-Chicago” on Facebook or stonewallkickballchicago.leagueapps.com.
