The DuPage Community Network will present “LGBTQ+ Youth: Incorporating Affirming Policies, Practices and Supporting Intersectionality in Schools” on Friday, March 4, at BMO Harris Bank, 1200 E. Warrenville Rd., Naperville, 8 a.m.-3 p.m.
Jeremy Majeski, from Berwyn School District 100, will deliver the keynote address, presenting the policy the district implemented in 2015 to support transgender students. Topics that will be discussed are the needs of LGBTQ+ youth of color, among others.
