Gilead Sciences, Inc. announced the recipients of its HIV cure grants program—a fund totaling more than $22 million that will support 12 new HIV cure research projects.
Among those receiving grants is CURE HIV, a community-academic partnership among AIDS Foundation of Chicago (AFC), Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital and Northwestern University. Amy Johnson is the point person and is currently at AFC and Northwestern.
A few of the other institutions that are Gilead recipients include the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine; University of Zurich, Institute of Medical Virology; Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine; and Project Inform.
