For the weekend leading up to Valentine’s Day, Feb. 10-14, 27 Andersonville businesses have joined forces to give back 14 percent of their sales to a charity or non-profit each business has chosen.

With the support of the Andersonville Chamber of Commerce, Hallie Borden, owner of Milk Handmade at 5137 N. Clark St., has organized the first “With Love from Andersonville” neighborhood-wide fundraiser, bringing all 27 businesses together for one unified effort to “give back.”

Some of the benefiting organizations will include Equality Illinois, Planned Parenthood, North Side Housing and Supportive Services in Uptown, and Care for Real, among others.
