Artemis Singers, Chicago’s lesbian feminist chorus since 1980, presents a concert of protest songs with Rise Up! The performance features guest artist Melanie DeMore, who will also lead a vocal workshop earlier in the day. Artemis Singers’ Rise Up! is at 7 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 13, at Evanston Township High School, 1600 Dodge Ave., Evanston. Concert-only tickets are $20 and $15 for seniors, students and kids ages 12 and under. The workshop is 10 a.m.-3 p.m. (advance registration required).
