Lighthouse Church distributes hand warmers

On March 2, members of The Lighthouse Church of Chicago—which is LGBT-inclusive and predominantly African-American—distributed 1,000 pairs of hand warmers to CTA riders at the Wilson Red Line stop, 4620 N. Broadway.

The church did this to 1) celebrate four years of life-changing ministry, 2) bless the neighborhood of Uptown in which the church gathers for weekly worship at Uptown Underground, 4713 N. Broadway, and 3) inspire people to learn more about their community and to check out its Sunday morning worship services.
