A prize-winning documentary film on the social and residential challenges facing our community’s “silent generation” (over 60), powerfully clarifies the late-life decisions confronting both couples and singles. It will be shown on Thursday, Jan. 31, 4:30 p.m. at White Oaks, 704 N. McLean Blvd., South Elgin, IL. The film will be followed by a Q&A session with a representative panel, and a light supper with soft drinks.
The program is geared towards professionals in all geriatric fields who wish to expand their LGBTQAI understanding, but is also open to the public. There is no charge for the event or for on-site parking. For further information, call the reception desk at 847-531-8360, or ask for Chakeya Jenkins at extension 1018.
