Promethean Theatre Ensemble will perform An Uncertain Hour, a work by gay playwright Nick Patricca, on Sunday, July 21, at 6 p.m. at The Lincoln Loft, 3036 N. Lincoln Ave.
According to a press release, the plot is as follows: “When confronted with extinction by the terrible killing machine of Nazi Auschwitz, when Primo Levi very much wanted to give up and die, his identity as a Jew and the immortal words of Dante came to his rescue, calling him to the life of a poet—a maker of words necessary for life.”
