The Andersonville Chamber of Commerce (ACC) will welcome guests on a dining tour of Andersonville’s restaurant district during the annual Taste of Andersonville progressive dinner crawl on Wed., Aug. 7, 6-9 p.m.
The event features two routes—SPOON and FORK—with 17 tasting stops per route, each featuring diversified menu offerings of dinner, dessert and drink options. (THE WORKS ticket allows dining access to both routes.)
The SPOON route includes such spots as Stone Fox Chicago (5721 N. Clark St.; frozen paloma), TrueNorth Cafe (5507 N. Clark St.; cucumber apple smoothie) and Octavio Cantina & Kitchen (5310 N. Clark St.; tacos with mini-margaritas). The FORK path has such stops as Bar Roma Chicago (5101 N. Clark St.; tiramisu), Hutch American Kitchen + Bar (1477 W. Winnemac St.; pizza sampler) and Jerry’s (5419 N. Clark St.; brown butter blondie).
Check-in will begin at 4 p.m. at the Swedish American Museum’s north storefront, 5217 N. Clark St.
Tickets can be purchased online at http://Andersonville.org until Aug. 7 at 12 p.m. If available, additional day-of tickets will be sold starting at 4 p.m. at the museum.
