The Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago, 220 E. Chicago Ave., has announced a one-week extension of “Virgil Abloh: Figures of Speech”—the first-ever museum exhibition devoted to the work of artist/designer Virgil Abloh, who is, among other things, the artistic director of Louis Vuitton’s menswear collection and the CEO of the label Off-White.

Virgil Abloh: “Figures of Speech” and the accompanying pop-up shop “Church & State” will now be open through Sunday, Sept. 29.

Set in an immersive space designed by Samir Bantal—a director of AMO, the research studio of Rem Koolhaas’ architecture firm OMA—the exhibition focuses on the creative process and collaborative work of Abloh, whose approach to fashion is equally inspired by contemporary art, his architectural training and the world of music.

Timed admission tickets ($15 each) to view the exhibition are on sale online at http://MCAChicago.org/abloh. Admission for those 18 and younger is free.
