Queer Eye co-host Jonathan Van Ness will be part of Chicago Ideas Week when he appears Saturday, Sept. 28, at “Jonathan Van Ness: Beyond Permission,” 7-8:30 p.m. at Music Box Theatre, 3733 N. Southport Ave.
In this conversation, Van Ness will explore how the hate and rejection he experienced while growing up taught him how to accept, love and celebrate himself.
Also, there will be a special performance by a local group to start the program.
