Musical artist/social-justice advocate Adrian Dunn—who happens to be a member of the LGBTQ community—announced the release of his latest album, REDEMPTION: Live, a collection of spiritual and gospel songs.

New singles from REDEMPTION will be performed in concert through the “Black Music Matters Tour,” which will visit two local venues. First, it will be at Indianapolis’ Crossroads AME Church, 4602 N College Ave., on Friday, Feb. 7, at 7 p.m. Dunn will be joined by The Adrian Dunn Singers, an all-Black professional vocal ensemble established in 2018. A panel with local Black thought leaders and professors will be held as well.

Dunn will also visit the Reva and David Logan Center for the Arts in Chicago, at 915 W. 60th St., on Sunday Feb. 16, at 7:30 p.m. This event will feature groups such as The RISE Orchestra, the Chicago Children’s Choir Hyde Park and the University of Chicago’s University Chorus.
