Dixie Longate—the fast-talking, gum chewing, ginger-haired Alabama drag personality—is headlining Dixie’s Happy Hour as a benefit for Season of Concern Chicago.
People are urged to spend an evening with Dixie on this joyride, during which, according to a press release, “she’ll inspire you to find your personal happy hours while serving up the four basic food groups: gin, rum, vodka and tequila!” The event runs through Sunday, March 28.
Season of Concern Chicago provides financial assistance to Chicagoland theater artists impacted by illness, injury or health-related circumstances (including COVID) that prevents them from working.
