A note read, “Due to the capacity of staff, board, and volunteers as well as rising COVID rates, we will be postponing Burning Bowl until March 2022. We miss you all and look forward to welcoming you when we can safely gather again.”
Burning Bowl is normally held in January. In 2021, it was held virtually because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Last year’s theme was “Community Undivided.”
During the in-person burning ceremony, attendees write down the negative things they wanted to leave behind from the previous year so they can move into the new year with confidence and positive outlooks.
Affinity will share a year-in-review segment on Jan. 8, 2022, and host a special “Living Room Chats” to discuss the programs and changes made in 2021.
