Due to the COVID-19 surge driven by the Omicron variant, and out of an abundance of caution for public health, Steppenwolf Theatre Company has postponed its Steppenwolf for Young Adults world-premiere adaptation of Eve L. Ewing’s 1919, and hope to produce the show in this fall.
The production was originally scheduled to open early next month.
All other Steppenwolf productions are proceeding as planned, including King James (March 3—April 10), Seagull (April 28—June 12), Mike Birbiglia: The Old Man and the Pool (April 28-May 22) and Choir Boy (June 16—July 24).
