Spinosaurus: Lost Giant of the Cretaceous"
The Auditorium Theatre, 50 E. Ida B. Wells Dr., will present the first event in its National Geographic Live Series on Sunday, Feb. 27, at 2 p.m. with “Spinosaurus: Lost Giant of the Cretaceous,” featuring National Geographic explorer/paleontologist Nizar Ibrahim.

Spinosaurus was the largest predatory dinosaur yet discovered—and was even larger than T. rex. Attendees will hear how this prehistoric giant was almost lost to science, before being uncovered again with Ibrahim’s help.

This is the first event of a three-show series that also includes Wild Hope, with Ami Vitale (March 13); and Social by Nature, with Ronan Donovan (April 10).
