The Illinois State Fair has announced the performers for this year’s festival, taking place Aug. 11-21 in Springfield.
The fair’s grandstand will include performances from such acts as Sam Hunt (Aug. 12), Demi Lovato (Aug. 13), Brooks & Dunn (Aug. 14), TLC and Shaggy (Aug. 17), Jon Pardi (Aug. 18), Disturbed (Aug. 20), and Sammy Hagar & The Circle (Aug. 21). All shows will be at 8 p.m.

Some of the other events scheduled for the fair include County Fairs & Horse Racing Day (Aug. 12), during which more than 70 county fair queens as well as 105 fairs and expositions from across the state are represented at the fair; Veterans & Gold Star Families Day (Aug. 14), during which veterans and their families are admitted to the grounds for free; Agriculture Day (Aug. 16), which spotlights crops and livestock; Governor’s Day (Aug. 17); Republican Day (Aug. 18); and First Responder Day (Aug. 19).
