The Chicago Red Stars walked away with a point after a gritty performance against Kansas City ended in a scoreless draw at SeatGeek Stadium on July 29.
Goalkeeper Emily Boyd recorded her first career penalty save in the 24th minute to keep the Current off the board.
Red Stars players Tierna Davidson, Taylor Malham and Kayla Sharples were the top three players on the field with the most completed passes. Davidson also ranked in the top five in recoveries.
Chicago will next face the Houston Dash on Aug. 5 at 7 p.m. CT at SeatGeek Stadium.
