On June 11, Center on Halsted, 3656 N. Halsted St., held its 9th Annual Trans Ice Cream Social. Trans individuals and allies from throughout the community gathered on the third floor of the Center to socialize and make new friends over ice cream.
The Center’s new Chief Strategy Officer Precious Brady Davis greeted the crowd while representatives from Life is Work, Accenture, and GenderQueer of Chicago engaged them as well. Ice Cream was provided by Box and Jeni’s ice cream.
