The Illinois Bear Contest took place in Chicago from from July 26-27.
The weekend’s meet-and-greet was held at Cellblock, 3702 N. Halsted St., on Friday night, while the main contest followed at the Leather Archives and Museum, 6418 N. Greenview Ave., on Saturday night. The contest was emceed by Truly Scrumptious St. James. The seven contestants competed for the titles of Illinois Bear, Illinois Cub and Illinois Pet. The Illinois Bear Contest 2024 winners are Cliff Boyd for Illinois Bear, Treble Onyx for Illinois Cub and Artemis Lokison for Illinois Pet.
