Chicago Fashion Week® (CHIFW)—a lineup of special events running Oct. 9-20 that’s focused on the city’s fashion industry—announced a call for event submissions for the CHIFW event calendar, now open through Friday, Aug. 23.
Events including fashion shows and presentations, award programs, retail marketplaces, gala celebrations, educational programs and more in partnership with local fashion organizations, retailers and neighborhood business associations will be promoted during CHIFW.
To be considered for the Chicago Fashion Week calendar, submit event information at www.chicagofashionweek.com/contact and select “Host an Event” on the submission form. If events are selected for the calendar, CHIFW participants will be notified in early September.
Open categories include Fashion Education, Runway Fashion Event, In-Store Event, Social Fashion Event and Exhibition. Some events that have already been announced include Surround Sound of Fashion (Oct. 12), Asian Fashion Show Chicago (Oct. 12), the Modern Vintage Fashion Marketplace (Oct. 13) and Runway Latinx (Oct. 19).
