Members of the LGBTQ+ community and their supporters gathered the evening of Aug. 20 at TAO Chicago, 632 N. Dearborn St., for a joint Human Rights Campaign (HRC)/Planned Parenthood celebration to mark the 2024 Democratic National Convention. Actor/Activist Billy Porter was among the attendees and performers at the event, which was headlined by drag performer Detox.
