The Midwest Pet & Handler Contest took place at various Chicago locations the weekend of Sept. 13-14, kicking off with a meet-and-greet that took place at Jackhammer, 6406 Clark St., on Friday the 13th. The five contestants that evening answered various questions related to their views on pet play and its place in the LGBTQ+ community.
The contest itself took place at the Leather Archives & Museum, 6418 N. Greenview Ave., the following evening; it was emcee’d by Diamond Devereaux-Yaki. A victory party at Jackhammer followed the contest.
This year’s title holders are Alpha Pup Red for Midwest Pet and Daddy Brian for Midwest Handler.
